Protected and Conserved Lands on Sonoma Mountains
The Sonoma Mountains cover approximately 130 square miles (83,200 acres, about 8% of the County). Protected lands total 22% (18,000 acres) as of late 2021—including publically and privately owned conserved lands, and parcels with conservation easements over them.
