The Sonoma Mountain Sugar Shuttle only runs twice The Sonoma Mountain Sugar Shuttle only runs twice a year. Would you like to see it run more often? https://sec.regfox.com/2026maysatjlshuttle
 It is an 8-mile one-way hike between North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park and Jack London State Historic Park and will run on May 2nd and 3rd. Would you be interested in taking this hike? Why or why not? SMP is considering sponsoring this trailhead-to-trailhead shuttle so that it can run more regularly.

The first photo centers on Lafferty Ranch Open Space and the headwaters of Adobe Creek. 

Photo number two looks head on up the headwaters of Washington Creek before it flows through East Petaluma and into the Petaluma River. 

Photo number three looks SSW, down the Rodgers Creek Fault.

The last photo looks NE south of Petaluma.
